HeadteacherBKHS brings together the rich heritage of King Henry VIII and Bablake schools to create one of the only 3 to 18 independent co-educational day schools in Coventry. The history of academic prowess, sporting spirit and musical passion is the foundation on which BKHS stands. This solid foundation, excellent teaching and extensive co-curricular opportunities means there is no limit to what our pupils can achieve. BKHS is a community of learners, who will become the leaders of the future.

We are privileged to work with your sons and daughters as they discover the wonder of learning. We nurture the curiosity of our youngest pupils and encourage a love of learning as they progress through their educational journey with us. We are fortunate that many of our pupils stay with us from Pre Preparatory to A Levels. This provides the unique opportunity to see them reach, or exceed, their potential as they grow in so many ways.

We are a friendly, welcoming and unpretentious School that reflects the diversity of Coventry itself. Academic life is at the heart of what we provide but a BKHS education extends outside the classroom. Our extensive co-curricular activities such as sport, music and drama encourage fun, commitment and the opportunity to excel.

Our pupils' wellbeing is of paramount importance to us.

All pupils are unique and will thrive in some areas and need support in others. We have an inclusive ethos and pastoral care is embedded in the school with an emphasis on early staff intervention. We are passionate about guiding our pupils as they become well rounded, confident and committed individuals.

Our children are our future.

An education at BKHS means they are prepared for the opportunities and challenges the future may bring. They will have the confidence to own the room, the skills to shape the debates and the kindness to act for all.
